Brother & Sister

Hi everyone...today, I manage to finish up a project long overdue...LOL....I received this stamps from Ying Pang/Magnolia Sweden DT because I won her blog candy...It's like wining a lotery for me! As I actually ordered one from Diana but they took it on purpose at my local post office...:(

Oh well....Ying become an angel sent to me as I got a replacer for what am loosing...I promised her that I will make her a card. Instead of card, I thought a note book decorated with the image should be more useful, if you agree with me...it makes a great present too. As Ying loves purple...I decided to work on those tones & I hope she like it...:)

You know...my basic recipes for face and hair will remain the same...as those are my favourite tones, as well as for the beige. This time I used V 95,93,91 for the lavender coloured dresses on the image. The doilly was cut with the Magnolia's dohickey

For some of you who placed a comment on my previous posting...thank you very much, your comments were really encouraging and heart warming... If you wonder about the situation after the volcanic erruption here, we are actually pretty safe in the capital city. It's quite bad in the central of the island as the volcanic ashes are going everywhere and some flights going in and out of country were suspended last week end...Nowadays, life goes back to normal and yesterday we had the chance to welcome President Obama here....!

  2. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, Dewi! I love to alter these types of books also! You've done such a great job coloring this sweet image and I love the doily shape you used behind it. It has such a vintage feel with the roses and ribbon.
